I'd say maybe 2012. Some of that emo/scene shyt was kinda catchy, ngl. Plus you had The White Stripes, The Strokes, Arcade Fire (before they fell off), Radiohead, Clocks by Coldplay came out in 2003. Coldplay is mid but Clocks is a mf classic.

My Dad put me onto The Black Keys before they really blew up. They sounded a lot blacker in their early career, the singing cac was straight up trying to sound like a breh

Someone made a post of the biggest bands of the 2010's and the list was pure ass aside from Tame Impala and Paramore (who debuted in the 2000's).

I'm not saying white artists completely stopped making good music, but in my opinion it was in it's prime in the 80s. The 90s was cool too...but the 2000s couldn't compare

but that is dope that your pops put you on to a lot of good music, props to your father for that

My favorite band since I was 16. I just turned 44...

They are legacy status now.
Its crazy that them, Korn, and Limp Bizkit are still relevant. LB has had one of their biggest years ever. But Deftones are still amazing.
