this is one of the reasons why "leaks" and social media are bad for the wrestling business.

Yes, I said "leaks".

I too miss the days where a random major wrestler from another fed would show up either at the announce table and start talking shyt before throwing a belt in the garbage or slide into the ring unannounced and beat the shyt out of the company's top babyface before the announcers even know who it was.

Hell I grew up on "territorial" wrestling and had no idea all those lil feds were owned by the same person. Jerry Lawler a face on one and a hell on the other. Dok Hendrix nad his boys showing up and beating up somebody like Terry Taylor was a big fukking deal. :russ:

Imagine of the Kings of Wrestling would have just shown up and beat the hell out of the Usos instead of us watching them separately in FCW.

Imagine if El Generico would have shown up and saved those bullfighters whatever their names are theose dudes with the midget from The Shield.

What if Kevin Steen showed up TONIGHT and beat the hell out of Cena, then forced him to blade?

Them days is long gone. :to:
lack of leaks is what made this Rollins heel turn so great. if we knew a month ahead it wouldnt have meant shyt.

100% agree.

Even jobbers/midcarders switching companies would sometimes have you like :ohhh:, depending on who it was

I remember marking out when X-Pac came back and joined DX.

fukkin' X-Pac......of all people.

(granted, I was a 1-2-3 Kid fan before that, but still.......)

I personally think for the most part, WCW-to-WWF defections >>>>>>> WWF-to-WCW defections :manny:

Seeing Mr. Perfect go to WCW as Curt Hennig had me like :beli:

But seeing Eddie Guerrero, Saturn, Malenko and that other nikka go over to Vince's turf had me like :gladbron:......and I wasn't even a major fan of any of them like that

And don't get me started on Jericho's WWF debut.....:wow:.....and that was someone else who I only saw as a WCW midcarder before that

Dude, Hall & Nash showing up in WCW was better than all of those.

Hell, Hogan and Macho Man ending up in WCW was better than those

Besides the obvious answers....Raven going to WCW sitting in the crowd was huge

Also, The Radicals to WWE was in my hometown

Which is why I said "for the most part".....you just mentioned the obvious exceptions, which are big-name wrestlers

Hall & Nash were two well-known WWE main-eventers, plus their WCW debut was the beginning of one of the biggest pro wrestling angles ever......so they're an obvious excepton

Hogan & Macho were huge, legendary WWE names, so of course their moves to a rival company in WCW would've been huge.....

If Cena/Orton even so much as made an appearance in a TNA crowd much less actually join TNA, then EVERYONE on here would want to see that video clip
