Get a laptop with at least 16 gig ram I7 processor, That way you will have great processing power. Dells typically have a high shelf life.
I looked it up and there's one in Amazon, but it's 1,000 dollars. I don't know, Breh. I just need something I can use FL Studio on comfortably that isn't too expensive.

if this one's out of your price range you may be able to get away with 8gb of ram, but I wouldn't recommend that.

I don't really have a budget, but i can't do 1,000$, Breh. So I guess anything under that.
As long as you are not recording audio, one of these should get you to the finish line. You can always upgrade RAM later.

I've always went with a desktop for music. That's probably no help, but my 2 cents.
Although I Haven't used that exact laptop. I have a Dell custom built pc with similar specs. The only difference between the link I sent you was the fact that my computer of choice is a desktop and what I sent you is a laptop, but the specs are the same as my desktop.

Just buy the Mac. You gonna end up buying one at some point. Just get it out the way now
