I would’ve had him interrupt somebody talking similar to Miz/Malakai bum ass tonight but I would’ve made it count and probably had him interrupt Cena like when KO got called up

It’s odd he didn’t get called up because it seemed like the angle with Oba was gonna be his swan song.

Their thought process is probably:

— They wanna actually have the match with Oba Femi before they call him up.

— Wanna see if he can do the heel act solo dolo to see just how rounded a performer he is.

— Wanna cap off the storyline with Yung OG before he gets sent off.

Trick is honestly main roster ready though. He has some kinks to work out, yeah, but he has that John Cena/Early 00s rock work style where he seems to match the energy and pace of whoever he’s across (See the Triple Threat Match & his Dragunov Matches vs the matches with Eddie Thorpe & Ridge Holland), whichis a gigantic benefit when wrestling more experienced and traveled opponents. Something he can’t get in NXT’s current Men’s Division.

I fully expect them to draft him up somewhere though

Seems like HBK wants everyone to have a babyface than a heel run (or vice versa) before they are called up. Only problem is a lot of these guys are getting called up as heels when they were probably more over as faces at the time (Roxanne, Bronn, Melo, and soon Trick).

So they're all edgy and shyt on their main roster debut and it kinda is stunting them a little from the beginning.

Trick is definitely ready for the main roster, but the main roster is crowded to the point that Trick could get lost in the sauce.
I can see Trick/Oba going a couple of weeks longer, and I can also see Trick getting a short run as the TNA champ so he can get another accolade under his belt (and to give him one up on Melo).
