Breh, sorry to tell you this but you can't really do anything about it. A lot of black cultures around the world are fukked up and self hating, and trying to change that shyt takes decades and requires a widespread effort from influential players. do you feel that youre really just missing not only established friends, but multi cultural friends?
do you have interests that you could pursue to maybe find likeminded individuals? sports or books or something other than Drake and Breezy?

oh, so youre in shock. lightskin kids get picked on in majority black areas in the usa as well, its just an easy thing to single someone out for. i think you would be in culture shock if u went to a down south hbcu as well. I think the suggestion of bringing your gaggle ofcolorstruck groupies around other guy is actually good, just dont let it backfire if one of the dudes catches feelings but the girl is really only into you. good luck

As black people we all have a mixed family so think of me as your lightskin bro , or cousin or something,
Here's the thing i've always been a pro black pro civil rights kinda guy. However im lightskin so , i always had a group of friends of all races, black white asian etc.

Ive recently gone to a 90% black country (university)to get closer to my roots cause my family has roots there.
Problem is....i dont fit in, i feel like the odd one out most times the younger girls that like chris brown and trey songz been on me heavy. Every convo i've had with the girls that aggresively got with me somehow lead into a convo of try or chris brown or drake. The girls that are a little older think im cocky.
And the dudes look at me as competition which leave me in an awkward position where im always tryna force convo with people cause they think ...that I THINK that im better than everyone else and its not the case.
This country got people bleaching and blacks walking around with fake american accents wearing michael kors tryna look "white". But im an outsider??? what? it dont even make sense.
Even yesterday i overheard my friend who's a black woman go crazy in awe over one of her friends who made a "fair baby" wtf brah

This place got me down lowkey cause im confused as hell on how to understand this.
