LOL. OP isnt really giving to much info to work with so we can both make assumptions. What if Company B has a no competition clause? OP said its the same position. What if Company A moves to another state?

Company B is an Insurance Company
Company A is JM Smith Corporations (QS/1)

No competition clause with Company B.

Edit: I've accepted the offer to Company A, after a week of doing my two weeks to help Company B transition, I got offered the 90k. I'm scheduled to start with Company A on the 14th.

For more perspective Job B is my current job's counter offer to Job A.

So that's what it is.

Ok, you'll probably burn a bridge with Job A if you stay at job B.

And, people at your current job may resent you for getting your new salary. That's what happened to me at my current gig. They countered and I stayed.

I would ask job A if they can offer more and be sure to let them know your current job countered. Even if they give you 85k I'd bounce because I personally value time off.

You also have to ask yourself if you could deal with the people you work with for another 5 years. I reckon you started looking for a new job for a reason

True, I felt that I should have been being paid more at my current company. So when i got the offer they first countered with the same pay rate but not the benefits. I accepted the position at JM Smith. Today, a week later, my current place offered the 90k.
