I’m currently taking an online introduction to programming class.
The dude teaching the class is a grad student that created his own programming language, VIPLE, and we spent the first 4 weeks doing a couple labs with that language.
This week we switched to Python, and he’s trying to show us how the shyt we did in VIPLE correlates to Python.
Here’s the thing...
I didn’t understand a damn thing he said when he taught us his language, VIPLE, and I damn sure don’t understand now that he’s trying to show the correlation between the two languages.
I have an A in the class because I can follow directions well, and my labs are error free, but I have no idea what I did.
Can somebody point me in the direction of books/vids that gives a thorough, base level explanation of thinking like a computer, programming theory, etc.
I want to learn this shyt bad as fukk, but he’s not giving me what I need.
