they not gonna come after you for tax evasion if they owe you money.
This dude isn't Wesley Snipes. Most they'll do is charge a penalty that is suspiciously for nearly the exact amount of the tax refund he would've received had he filed his taxes on time.

You better pray you were getting a refund, because you owed anything at all the penalties they gonna lay on your ass will be more than what you owed initially.

Hell the penalties might just take away all the money they actually owed you.

I haven't filed yet this year, but typically I get a few hundred back federally and break about even on state taxes.
