I wouldn't be so quick to say that. It sold about 2.4 million singles in '92 alone (2nd most that year to Whitney houston). Singles back then weren't $1, they were like $4-&7. So if you accumulate all the single sales from the 90's until now I wouldn't be surprised if it's well over 10 million. So that could account for $20-$30 million right there. That's not including album sales which it went platinum and again it's the 90's and CD's back then were $20, so that's another $20+ million. And then you have all of the licensing fees from this: Friends, Simpsons, Living color, burger King commercial, bill Nye, Jackass movie, Shark Tale, Scooby Doo, Scary Movie 4, Yogi Bear, Shrek, Futurama. That list is just domestic, I'm sure there's a bunch of international shyt it was used on or stadiums/arena licensing it and other license fees. Then you have whatever he's made performing the song over the years.
