At least 10 people died over the inaccuracies depicted in this film. Growing up I used to favor this over Blood in Blood Out, but hearing all this makes me wonder why Edward James Olmos didn't take the source material very seriously. Especially when he was depicting the lives of Real Mexican Mafia Gangsters.
