They're reporting on a Yankees Twitter feed lobbying Bret Gardner for the all star game. I'm not gonna go into detail but the feed basically is a dry diss to a-rod. They're assuming the Yankees wrote it but what they fail to realize is MLB controls all team Twitter accounts. The Yankees were the ones that actually made them take it down. The fact that they didnt know this shows how lazy and ignorant these so called sports talk shows are when it comes to reporting actual news.

I did too but it's too but it is true that MLB controls all of the teams Twitter accounts.

They didn't even put effort into the research. They even talked about this on the Michael Kay show yesterday in depth. These shows shape fans perception and most fans don't do their own research so they rely on these shows to stay inform. The Yankees just went above and beyond to get arod his 3000th hit ball back so why would anyone within the Yankees organization use Brett Gardener to sneak diss him publicly?

Don't know where you got your information and I'm not saying it's not true, but one of my best friend's brothers works for the phillies and he claims to have posted on their official twitter account before and that it's all in house with official PR/tech people controlling their Twitter. Again he could've been making it up, but he's worked for the organization for like 5 or 6 years now and I see no reason why he would lie, and I couldn't find any info supporting ur claim.

I agree, I get it Golic is essentially comic relief + football opinions, which I do respect for the most part but Mike Greenberg used to be a pretty good reporter when he was small time and I have higher expectations for him when he's supposed to be the 'journalist'. Sports journalism is in kind of a sad state of affairs (I suppose you can apply this to journalism in general).
