You missing what I'm saying. I've read many times that Illmatic the greatest rap album blah blah blah. So just because their both classic don't mean they on the same level. Truth be told more people waic s rocking with Cuban Linx than Illmatic.
I got this album for Christmas wen I was 9, was actually the first time I heard Nas on verbal intercourse. Don't get me wrong illmatic was amazing lyrically but Only Built For Cuban Linx nikkas was like a fukking novel, shyt was so vivid!!

1) first album with diverse production. it layed the blueprint for every other album in history that compiles "super producers"
2) nas is however much nicer than rae/ghost and was being hailed the new rakim
3) illmatic is looked at as an introspective look into nas life. an autobiography of non-fiction.
only built 4 cuban linx is not the opposite but its more like a fiction novel.

Right! I asked for coolio Gangta Paradise n got that n Rae's joint, wasn't really familiar with him jus knew him from Wu. The album artwork n content was mad inappropriate for a 9 y/o. Even tho I asked for the coolio, I ended up bumpin the Rae shyt waaaay more lol
