I never understood punting on 4th & 1 late in the game when you're losing

Teams ASSUME the other team won't make much of an effort and you'll force a 3 and out.



If you were having problems with your girl and all you had to do were little things to advance your relationship, would you let her go out and date other dudes assuming you will get her back because those other dudes won't make much of an effort and she'll come running back to you?

Depends where you at on the field,if you to deep in the other teams territory why risk giving them another easy 7pts?

If you deeper in your endzone then yea I agree with what your saying
