I partially agree...
It's more self unawareness amongst them...
Many don't fit in with the definition of being black (whatever the hell that is)and growing up you just want acceptance amongst your peers, so you will suppress the shyt people say just to fit in..
Comic book nerds/gamers/cosplayers, etc are some of the most prejudice, bigoted people walking the face of the planet...
It's truly levels to the shyt..
But many of these black/nonblacks(hopefully) start to become aware and their self esteem picks up and they start recognizing some of the groups they are in are no better then the popular folks..
I admit I did that up until my early 20s..
One day at a convention a white boy over stepped the line while I was playing MVC2 and I smacked the fire out of his ass...
Melee insued and everybody came to his defense and from there I saw what it was..
Been proud of who I am ever sense and never hesitate to go hard on anybody that shyts on my people..
