Most classes let you use your phone. This isn’t an issue anymore outside of senior year or college.

When i was in college you were forced to buy a brand new textbook retail price for most classes. Because they would do a new revision every year and reorganize the chapters. and the teacher would assign your homework from the textbook directly. So you weren't allowed to buy a used one from last year.
They can't release an e book for $1?
everybody has laptops, but we were required to buy scantrons for every test and quiz in some classes. Other classes did the exams entirely digital.

I donate, books, games, medical supplies and clothes to my local school district every year.
I live in a well off district and they take pretty decent care of the kids (field trips, activities, tutoring, looking for public figure mentors, sat preps, book faires covered if child doesnt have the money , etc).
Im not complaining about buying $30 bucks worth of stuff on their list.

I miss that about DOD schools......didn't need to purchase any supplies at all........they would ask for donations but was y anything mandatory
