I cant lie, I looked up the pre-order and it's all sold out.

If I'm out one day and GameStop has one in stock I'll cop it but I won't going out my way for it.

I know y'all say Switch games are for kids but the reality is its hard to find time to invest in games thar require hours of play as an adult.

I like the convenience of quick games being able to be played on a handheld device.

Nintendo's games are family friendly but very high quality, a lot of us enjoy them. This subforum is obsessed with the console wars. The posters on here give Nintendo flak for their Disney-like brand because they want to subtlety elevate their preferred platform.

Anyways, Madden 26 is coming to the Switch 2 (Madden NFL 26 Locks in Release Date, Hits Nintendo Switch 2 but Ditches PS4 and Xbox One - IGN), so if you prioritize gaming on-the-go, get the Switch 2.

If you want to experience Madden 26 in the highest quality experience possible, get an Xbox Series X or PS5. It doesn't matter which one, really. Between the two, I'd recommend the PS5 because you'll have the option to grab some premium AAA single player games. Both consoles have those experiences, but the PS5 has a lot more exclusive titles.

I know nothing about the PS4, PS5, or XBOX.

I want to play Madden and a few other games I've seen not available on the Switch.

What Should I get?

1.) The game is identical on all platforms so there is no need to stan
2.) Its Cross platform so ppl saying PS has a larger player count is stanning real hard
3.) When that failed, they acted like Sony has games said FF remake would be exclusive
Well listen up OP, Gamepass has Madden and NCAA in it because EA play is part of Gamepass as well.
And gamepass >>> Anything Sony can do so the choice is easy

Every console will have you paying a subscription just to play online.

If you only care about a handful of games then you should just see if they run on your laptop or PC first, cause Madden is definitely working on most everyday computers.

Oh, so Madden and 2K are vastly different each year
And ANY GAMER but especially someone in his position (so the point is to direct him into the right direction, correct?)
Then what is better than Gamepass? Are you saying he should buy a PS5 and then a random game Gizmo recommends?
IF he had Gamepass he could literally try hundreds of games including the most popular newest games.

I don't have to explain how/why Gamepass is the best deal in gaming. It just is, is universally accepted as such
