Total agreement. Some of the most prettiest woman I ever seen had natural hair that made themselves smile so you know it got me smiling too!
In the end, the cool part about it is that out of two chicks with similar skin tone may have two different variations of natural hair in both of them still look good!

Because some chicks just really got super frizzy curly hair tight while other chicks that are my preference got that old-school kink because it's also similar to my own hair.

I'm a guy so I appreciate (the sisters) the women around me, supporting their own natural hair because they're natural confidence is what's going to restore functionality into the community.
With a lot more happy black mamas in the world today makes the world a bit better place for our futures that have. RNS!

I asked this birdbrain chick at work

"So that's your real hair. Right?"

It was straightened but with like a hot comb or some shyt. Didn't look like a perm.

Shoulder length. It was cute. Nothing wrong at all.

She said "Yeah"

I replied "Why don't you just wear it like that?"

She reflected for a sec "I don't know I just like weave..."

I said "Do you think guys like the weave better than your real hair?"

Then she hit me with an answer that I am still processing

"I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT"

sooo... you like weave but have no answer to 'does this make me more attractive' (to the people she's dating and mating with).

I couldn't say more. I could, but it would have been me cross examining her about this and proving to her that weave is wack.

But I decided to let her last sentence be the end of that volley

I actually think that was a good answer she gave you. People shouldn't do their hair according to how others think.
Weirdly though, i thought the reason the wore weave was because of other people. odd that she just does it for herself. Could be she was lying.

Okay so, like, me :for instance

I don't do one got damned thing to my hair or my entire body unless I am going to be seen by other Humans.. and even then - if its just a quick store run - I still might show up exactly how I got out of bed

If I were doing my hair for ME, I prolly just wouldn't fukc with it.

The factor that makes me clean up the neck area and trim it from time to time and comb and pick it and add a lil moisturizer is

the onlookers. The other people.

Isn't grooming for the viewers? If you're off work do you shower and tuck your shirt in and watch Dr Phil?

I don't think the problem is that she doesn't think about what it does for other, but why she personally likes it. You ask her what she likes about weave? And why straight weave (I assume) and not the other kinds of weave?

Even dudes were rocking more variety. Good to see. Used to be everyone wore low cut fades
Facts. shyt I twisted my own shyt today. Trying to learn new styles for me watching sistas videos. I love this shyt.

My wife got long locks :wow:
You're lucky mf you :myman: I bet it's delightful to run your fingers through it

No, for some people, looking good is done simply for their own satisfaction. You shouldn't rely on others for self gratification.
