I quit my main job a few months ago on my vacation. I have a part time too. Took that time to find a new job.

It was almost time for my review and if you learn more you get a bigger raise. I had been asking them to learn another department for like 6 months but they were bullshytting. I figured out why tho. They wait until after your review so you don't get that extra money. Then you have to wait another year to get that extra. I don't have time for shyt like that so I dipped.

Usually this is put out there months in advance, so in most cases there is considerable time to proactively make a move, especially if you are at the bottom half of the totem pole. Best believe your days are numbered.
