You wake up one day and the universe says "Hey, here's a brand new, top of the line sports car and a card to give you all the free fuel you need. Have fun!". What do you do?

Would you run to the kitchen, grab a tin of maple syrup and pour it straight into the engine just because you like the taste of maple syrup? Sounds stupid, right? Real stupid, huh?

Well stop and think for a minute:

Your lungs make everything else work. They are what life is based on and some people actually think pouring smoke into them, the very things that are designed to process air to fuel your body, is the way to go.

Real smart y'all. Pat yourselves on the back for another in a long line of smart decisions.

OP you'll need to get all that crap out of your lungs. Start running or if you can't run, walk a mile or so first and each time you cough up get rid of it then consider saunas/steam rooms to help speed up the process as well as N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) 1200-2400mg per day which will also reduce your cravings down to zero. It'll take you a few months for your body to clean itself out and then once again its on!

:salute:

Squares are not the wave

I did a hard quit a few months ago. I'm a big believer in sweating it out, first few days in saunas and steam rooms then continue doing cardio/gym.

Had me past the physical craving stage really quickly.

After that it's getting over the habit stage like, "Man, I just wanna go outside and chill for a second, burn a square." This part is tough and I found that what worked for me was just being prideful about my streak of nonsmoking days.

You still vape? What mods/kits are you using?

Stopped vaping cold turkey like 2 months ago..threw out all of my gear and juices and all. that lasted for like 2 weeks then i picked up the smokes again :snoop:
I started thinking more about the long term effects of vaping and the fact that we just don't know what it could be doing had me thinking its best to just quit.

My goal is to get rid of both for good. Its definitely possible.
