I feel like rap was much more fun and competitive when everybody was spittin over everybody elses beats. It was always so exciting to see your favorite artists about to drop a mixtape and checking what beats he was gonna go in on. I dunno, i loved it. Anybody else miss it?

I miss getting DJ Clue tapes, hearing Fab spit #1 on somebody song. You got exclusives from mixtapes, not internet.
Loved hearing cats freestyle on other cats beats. Flip lyrics so its the same "song" just their version of it (G Unit "Got Me A Bottle" comes to mind)
