Maybe streaming movies


Price: I don't want to spend more than $600.


I'm not big on. Mac Books. I prefer windows.


I hate the new windows layout though....so I'd want it to look like the older windows if possible.


I want room for pics, music and word docs.

I'd say search reputable online retailers for refurbished laptops. Just make sure they meet the specifications you listed above. I bought this Toshiba I'm typing on right now for $250 almost 3 years ago

Also ask your local crackheads/fiends/drug dealers (seriously). You'd be amazed at what they have to sell

if this dude can't repair my desktop and thinking of purchasing a new computer too...i'm low on funds right now though so looking for something cheap but durable and not too slow...surfing the net/streaming videos is all I use my computer for so i'm looking for something very basic.. I went to Office Depot(where I bought my previous computer) looking for some old school tower computers that were hopefully on sale(due to being out of date) but the only tower up there was like $500.00 which is about how much I paid for my tower/destop 7 years ago and more than many laptops and all in ones

I prefer destops or all in ones but looks like i'm going to have to get a laptop since they seem cheaper as a whole..the cacs at Office Depot were trying to rob a nikka so I went to Wallyworld but they don't sell desktops and the cheapest laptop they sell $199.00 is reasonable but the screen is to small for my taste..
