Her mom was put her on so from an early age she had talent but she never had to make music pop because she was good regardless, She can’t consistently put out a hit, let alone an album, and she’s more known for everything but music, she need to sit down focus, write some hits and record, but she’s not because she’d rather be a personality

I don't think she'd rather be a personality, I think she was actually putting more effort into music because she's already established in acting and it was something she was invested in. I was around her a few times when her husband was on the Cavs roster and I could tell she was putting focus on the music. It's hard to make hits when the target is constantly moving but you want to develope your own sound

look bruh, i don’t think she fukks with it the same way an artist does, not saying she doesn’t lock in, but she doesn’t strike me as an artist that will lock in for days on end and put some stuff out, because she never had to have it, it’s reflected in her music it will be a decent song here or there but no hit, no collective album

well relying on Kanye’s bi polar ass to get behind you is probably hard, but i believe it was one of those situations where if you go get it then the label was cool but if you were looking for the label to put a massive push behind you, then nah you needed to go to a major, you fukk with good music for Kanye to put his talent behind you not get a plastered campaign, and seeing the music she’s made which one of those songs you thing would pop with more promo i ain’t really seeing one, but even with one it’s not enough to blow her up

Ha, I was just listening to this today. She sounds great over soulful production. This, gonna love me, issues etc are great songs. I prefer this to all of her overtly sexual stuff.
