And it wasn’t Charlie Kirk.

It was a few hours before Kirk’s death, in Baltimore:

I saw his mother and family come from around the corner and the chaos that ensued. Obviously not the first I’ve witnessed this and definitely not the last.

Hours later, 31-year old Charlie Kirk died the same way.

So I ask - what’s the difference? This is what Amanda Seales says, that many of you co-sign:

But I say someone can say the same about the man that was murdered in front of me.

Clearly someone thought his words or actions were justified in him dying. Someone thought the man in Bmore harmed others or was a threat, or made the shooter angry.

I do not know the man that was shot, but that did not stop the “stop the violence” conversations afterwards and comments on the post I shared.

Everything someone who hates Kirk can say about the justification of his death, someone else is saying about the death of the 31-year old man I saw murdered, along with every other murder I have witness personally in my life (which has only been street violence.)

What is justice and what is karma and who is allowed to decide?

The guy who wants to make this thread and get us to reflect on how Kirk is spoken of happens to be the guy who saw another 31-year-old get murdered hours earlier to conveniently make his point?

Yes. I “happened” to see a 31 year old man get killed on the corner on North Montford - do you think I scoured the internet to mock someone from my own community to support Charlie Kirk????

I’m saying that I’m tired of this, yet how can the young ppl I mentor in DC BMore SF Bronx etc be told not to make the same justifications for murder as grown adults sitting in the comfort of their houses and apartments make on social media more and more these days about ppl they “don’t like”

I dont understand how they are connected at all.

We dont know what reason the shooter had as he decided to kill this man in broad daylight in public. Earlier altercation payback, argument that just broke out, money debt, or what.

None of those are valid reasons to us, but in the shooter's mind and the world he operates, they were. (And that's if he wasnt sent by somebody else to shoot the deceased.)

These young Black men and teens live in a dangerous environment, where unfortunately this level of violence isnt rare. Removing the most dangerous element from society, and opening up academic, career, and business opportunities to the next generation so that they steer clear of streetlife, is what is going to move the needle.

What random people are saying on the internet about the guy who died in Utah has no bearing on the lives and deaths of young Black men.

The guy who got killed in Utah was part of the propaganda arm that helped Trump get re-elected. And Trump is openly removing the resources/avenues and opportunities that are available to young Black men/teens in Baltimore and the other cities you mentioned.
