I don't think you are. It was one of those movies where everything happens with perfect timing. They took the true story, which was already sensational, then added all the Hollywood cliches to it. To me, it was overdone. But a lot of people really liked it. I don't think it should have been Oscar nominated either.

Yeah, I know what he means. I know a few people who have said its really good but nothing I heard about it so far interests me. But I'm sure it will be one of those movies that I will enjoy once I sit down and watch it...

Seems to be like my reaction to Mystic River.


I was supposed to love that thing, but thought it was a 6/10 at best. Acting was alright, but the story didn't do shyt for me. I had more fun with Blood Work, and I know that movie is like a 5.5/10 at best.

What a terrible post, Mystic River is by far the best movie Eastwood has ever made and the best picture all the actors have been in.

World War Z had a great balance of action and slower dialogue driven scenes and it was never dull

No real action. Some hit and miss comedy. Affleck plays a safe role no range needed. Best pic? Hell nah.

I disagree. Unforgiven was his best directed movie. I hope u didn't mean mystic river was the best movie Eastwood was associated with. Cuz that's wrong too..by a mile. But its whatever.

shyt put me to sleep on about 4 separate occasions before I was able to watch it all the way through and I like dramas and thrillers. This one just didn't do it for me.

I put Mystic River above Unforgiven cause Morgan Freeman is surprisingly kinda bad in it.

I never got the hype. It was well-made but nothing spectacular. You know them cats in Hollywood creamed themselves though over a story where they are the heroes.
