Just because something dropped in 2008 doesn't mean the singles didn't carry over into 2009. Songs typically break in 8-12 weeks.call someone flabby and sick while having poor memory and comprehension skills:
Carter 3 and 808's both dropped in 2008.
"Right Above It" was a whole year after "DOA"
And you're in here only listing Wayne and mostly mixtape tracks. Do you know how dominant autotune was from 2006-2008. It was everywhere. In 2009, nit so much.
Yea as a person that was also in college around this time, I don’t see how people apparently missed all of this. The rise of autotune was damn near immediate after this. You can even look at the year end list of the Billboard in 2010, autotune is all over it. Racks on Racks was the year after. The only thing D.O.A. did was kill off Ron Browz’ solo career and keep vets from using it (Fat Joe, GFK, and 50). Have any of them even used autotune since then? I remember seeing a GFK interview not too long after D.O.A. and he was basically looking like
