She's in her mid 20s and like many people she browses message boards. She lurks Reddit, YouTube, and Lipstick Alley. I know she lurks the later because she's linked me to gossip threads on here. No big deal.
Fast forward to my mother and I talking about the Chris Rock special. She mentioned my sister thought Chris Rock is a c00n
She basically said that Rock his wife of 25 years for a white woman, which is not true if you know the history.I recall my sister sending me a video of The Weeknd next to H.E.R and them not embracing. This was from a LSA post because there's a narrative that Weeknd hates Black Men.
Of course when Kamala was running for VP she definitely agreed with the narrative that anyone who disagrees with her hates Black women.
My mother thinks that my sister involves herself too much in the gossip even though she empathizes with the struggles of her being a Black woman, she may take it on the deep end because of stuff on LSA.
For the record my sister is in shape, has a successful career, late 20s, pretty religious, and has a boyfriend. No tattoos or septum piercings. She knows better than that. I think she just is internalizing a lot of crap from the media and feeding into it more. I know I definitely have taken some coli talking points but I can also critically think.
