I used to be a fan a few years ago, but as I started digging into comedy more I realised it's easier to do what Corey does than to do what Patrice did.

Corey's stand-up is alright but his radio appearances on Speedy's Comedy Corner is his best work. He used to have the funniest one liners.

Holcomb is one of those dudes doesn't pull punches on any topic. and will tell the joke regardless if it's in poor taste. he's funny though but his jokes can cause as many awkward silences as they can laughs

patrice pretty much fathered his style but he's cool. his stand up work is hit or miss for me (i feel like his delivery is off sometimes and the jokes are getting a little predictable). Plus it's like there is something missing in his standups that is actually there in his radio work. it's like on the standups, it feels like he's just telling jokes hoping to get a laugh, hoping his set goes well. on the radio show, it feels like yes, he's telling jokes but at the same time it feels like contrived. more sincere. he seems more confident on the radio. his uneasiness in his standups is very distracting to me.

but i feel like once he finds his "voice" he'll could be one of the greats.
