I think I know why I like violent music as opposed to happy/love music

this shyt must be psychological or something but i dunno i like violent shyt because it somehow eases my soul, it allows me to channel aggression i could never channel in real life (there are some nikkas who wronged me that i wouldn't hesitate to show them what a flagrant 2 looks like off the court ) also i've always been destructive when i was younger so throughout the years teachers have tried to make me "docile" or conform, shyt has now made me so complacent in life


i also have a love-hate relation with love songs, everytime i listen to a love song it makes me get in my feelings about why i'm still on team single and haven't found the one yet , which then reverts me back to play some violent fukk you and fukk this and fukk everything music



i was just listening to this right now, made we wish i had a lady i could slow dance this too

I like love songs too. They get me in my feelings and make me think about my girl now aswell as my ex. No homo but sometimes its nice to just sit and reminisce and feel all emotional.

Has anybody else noticed the shift to more dark, aggressive and overall demonic sounding beats in hiphop? Its literally impossible to write anything uplifting, motivating and inspiring to beats that sound like this. Your mind will AUTOMATICALLY go to a dark place.
