This might be my favorite Chris Rock movie. Real talk. Or at least tied with CB4 and Head of State.
This shyt was hilarious as fukk from beginning to end, but also had EXTREMELY deep messages. When Chris & Kerry Washington are throwing dollar bills out of the office window, it was deeply poignant, dude was overflowing with joy & excitement he hadn't felt in years. Sometimes, we just gotta do the unexpected & have a change of pace.
That scene where he's talking to different girls & ends with him getting curved is also real as hell, the grass isn't always greener, when you're single, you're ALONE.
Not to mention, Kerry Washington was looking finer than a mufukka in this movie
I believe the rumor that they had an affair while shooting this, the chemistry on screen was off the fukking charts.
Overall, I give this movie a 9/10. It's a shame that this actually didn't do good at the box office. You can tell Chris wrote this film based on his real life.

Kerry was gorgeous but Gina Torres was nothing to scoff at either. I know Chris is a fan of Woody Allen's work and it showed in this one, as well as Top Five. The latter film being one I enjoyed more personally but at the end of the day, I dug the fact that this wasn't your typical romantic comedy.
