He's made some minor attempts earlier in his career, but never had a hit that wasnt action or drama. Dude could easily play the straight man or the joker (of course it'd be more subdued than others, but you know), and considering how far he is into his career without any huge missteps, he won't be typecast.

his next movie is a comedy movie......wel maybe not a comedy but more light hearted movie than his past few movies

damn I wish 'Tower Heist' kept its original cast :damn:

In 2009, the film was still slated to be directed by Brett Ratner but with an entirely different cast: an all-black cast. Eddie Murphy was still in the film, but he was going to play the Stiller role, and his crew would be played by Dave Chappelle, Chris Tucker and Chris Rock. The villain, played by Alan Alda in the finished film, was to be played by Denzel Washington.
