You get a technical or flagrant, you have to sit out 1 minute. Now, your team has to go 4 vs 5 for a minute. When that minute is up, you get back on the court while play is still going on. That shít would be so damn cool to watch. I'd eliminate foul outs too. You get your 6th foul, you have to sit 2 minutes.

no team would be on board with sitting 2 mins for the 6th foul when most of those occur in the 4th quarter. can you imagine getting your 6th with 3 mins to go and your team has to play the next 2 a man down. that's crazy. everyone would prefer you depart and a sub come in.
