Man charged with sex abuse of Oak Park teen he met on Tinder

The Oak Park Police Department has charged a Chicago man with the possession of pornographic images and sexual abuse of an Oak Park teenager.

According to Oak Park police, Alexander Kusner, 29, of the 1300 block of North Greenview Avenue, Chicago, and the 16-year-old Oak Park girl began communicating earlier this year via an online dating app. Police said Kusner identified himself on the app as being 17 years old.

"Between Jan. 1 and April 12, the offender and the juvenile began to communicate via the Tinder app," Oak Park Police Commander LaDon Reynolds said. "On the victim's Tinder profile, she was listed as being 16 years old. The offender listed himself as 17 years old."

Reynolds said the two met at Kusner's apartment on three separate occasions earlier this year.
