Neville is the champion, Aries is the #1 contender. What exactly would they get out of wrestling 'other talent'?
What exactly did Eddie/Benoit/Dean/Rey/Kidman/Juvi/Ultimo get out of wrestling "other talent"?

Didn't Orton fukk himself up simply by pounding the mat?![]()
Absolutely nothing when they wrestled matches with no storylines or context. Jericho wrestled Scott Hall and got shyt out of it. Then he had a very memorable Cruiserweight title storyline with Dean Malenko which elevated both. Neville and Aries are the champ and #1 contender making every them in a storyline with each other.
Dean and Eddie were both wrestling heavyweights and had US title runs super early into their WCW runs. Dean got a featured Nitro bout with Sting in the first few months of Nitro that did more for his WCW than anything before the Jericho angle. Benoit similarly had a big match with Macho that upped his reputation considerably, and then of course the Raven/DDP feud, the best of 7 with Booker, and so forth. All things that couldn't have happened without letting him not be tied to the cruiserweight division.
Without Dean/Benoit being not confined to the cruiserweight division, Flair's comeback in 1998 would have been something completely different. Ultimo was constantly getting matches with heavyweights and bounced back and forth between TV and cruiserweight championships more than once. It's crazy to keep guys that talented confined to one small roster and not let them do anything else. It's no wonder no one gives a shyt about 205 Live, because completely segregating them like that shows that they aren't "real" stars from the jump.
No wonder my "Jack Gallagher was in the Royal Rumble" post was ignored.
Breh as a comedy spot in the Rumble is the same thing as getting matches with Flair, Sting, Macho and competing for higher titles to you?![]()
They like him moreI also didn't say they were being buried. All I've been saying is that it's weird Balor is smaller than some of the dudes on the cruiserweight show, is billed as being 15 pounds under the limit, yet isn't considered a cruiserweight by the company and won't be interacting with any of them while the rest of the guys can't interact with anyone else. All of which would not be even a thought if they'd bill him at 206 or higher. It's weird to me that they'd draw attention to his weight being below the cruiserweight limit when they have no need to give a real weight and don't for 90% of the roster.
He was being sarcastic breh lmaoDude picked the 3 worst examples, lol. He must've forgot Orton's multiple shoulder injuries or HHH tearing BOTH his quads.
He was never better than his 2000 McMahon-Helmsley Era run.
Breh chyna and Beth Phoenix were in the rumble you don't have a legit pointDoes Jack Gallagher being in the royal rumble sound like 'segregating him' to you? Maybe that's a sign of there being plans for Jack gallagher in the future? 205 live has only been on the air less than 5 months. Neville has been a cruiserweight for 4 months. Austin Aries has been a cruiserweight for 1 month. One can easily draw the logical conclusion that it is a smart thing to establish new programming with recognizable names and will transition onwards to make room for nxt call ups at a later time. Kalisto both had a decent length run as us champion and wrestled for the cruiserweight title in 2016, and sin cara was a cruiserweight for a week. None of that has to do with Finn Balor but being on 205 live isn't necessarily burying the talent that's on there. Guys are getting mic time and storylines that didn't before with varying results, and the best will move upwards.
