The 49ers had a chance to get Peyton, and they blew that. You know Alex got that in the back of his mind right now.

Harbaugh thought he was gonna take the next step with Alex this year, and Alex just aint built for that. Now he's questioning his confidence w/ Kaep coming in all the time....

I am just concerned and disappointed with how Harbaugh has mishandled this QB situation...

:whoa: Alex Smith is an ELITE quarterback. He had like 5picks total last year
He's a beast. Sure, he has like that much already this year. But Alex was a top pick
He lead the 9ers to the NFC Championship game. Peyton Manning is in the conversation for best QB EVER. But fukk that, I'm ridin with Alex til

Nice thread spin. Ultimately, I don't believe in Alex Smith. I know he's performed well as a game manager from the start of last season until now, but I see him not being able to make plays to win the game when it comes down it in the playoffs despite a strong defense. And he's going to have a less of an excuse this year with the added weapons.
