Let me preface this by saying props to those who handle their business professionally. I do not expect you to be cheaper than yor white counterparts. I respect you and hope you flourish in every endeavor.
This is NOT about you.

I've owned this house for 4 years and 4 out of 5 black small businesses have highly disappointed. I have 3 examples that are really testing me right now. One got paid a couple of thousands of dollars the day they started the job and was supposed to finish the cleanup part the next day. Let's just say that "next day" was in freakin...wait for it... September. And it took me to threaten take them to small claims court and harass them for the last 3 weeks for them to come do it and they finally did today.

Oh... And that's after they ignored my calls for a few weeks after bullshytting me for a couple of weeks before that. Again, all after they got paid.

• My mistake for being a black customer who respects your time and talents and not asking the black discount.
• My mistake of trusting you to do what you were supposed to do and paying you on time BEFORE you even finished the fukking job.

Now some of you might think "man it's just the clean up part so what's the big deal?" Try the clean up part being picking up the remaining logs (tree trunks) each longer than my car and weighing a freakin ton. It's not just the fukking "principal".

I wish i could share the stories for my sorry ass landscapers with you all but the post would be too long and one of them i made the same mistake: Paid him $300 in full before the job was completed. But it's okay. Whitey is taking over the landscaping business with Plows & Mows app and other apps, charging the same if not less and then contracting them same clown landscapers and paying them half of what they used to get paid directly from the customer in exchange for being part of "the network".

Most small businesses cant provide consistent service, imo. My mom had one black painter do an immaculate job on our old house and another do shytty job on the new one.

Those same mother fukkers provided excellent service to their white customers and charged them less. Granted i'll give them the charging less part because my job was done a year after what he did for my neighbor so i understand prices go up. But still the cutting down and cleanup of my neighbor's trees was done in timely manner completed the same fukking day. He charged me over $500 more and i still got shytty service

Fact is, sometimes nyggas think they can play with other nyggas time and money.

My dad hired a black business before to redo the basement of his house, the hassle of getting the work done was a complete headache, not returning calls, bullshytting and etc.. my pops finally cut his losses and hired some Mexicans to finish the shyt. He regrets that he didn’t go with the Mexicans the first time

I learned this a long time ago in Miami. If you're haitian and hire a haitian contractor or haitian whatever the level of service drops dramatically. But if they think you're black american or jamaican or some other black you get top notch service. Thus why when someone would come to our house and i could tell they were haitian i'd let them finish the job completely and keep the conversation to a minimum before i'd say something in kreyol. The fact that my last name isnt one of those very common haitian names helped too so despite them hearing my accent they couldnt pinpoint it and some would even think im jamaican or something. Even my mom and my sister who live in Miami have learned to never hire haitian contractors. They'll recommend them to you if you're NOT haitian tho. Because they'll roll out the red carpet for you.
