I'm in constant debates with kids at my job. They think it's weird that i walk around with Kyries, Giannis, etc. Yes, I know they're hooping shoes but they feel way more sturdy then sneakers. Plus, it gives more height (I'm 6'1 but it makes feel taller which is more intimidating to the kids i work with).

To me, it's a silly rule because some Jordan's people wear were worn by Jordan on actual games. So it's ok to wear J's but other hooping shoes are just for hooping? I think ita a silly rule but maybe I'm weird

Questions:
Are you a teacher, camp/guidance counselor, team coach?

Why are you in debates with kids?

What's your favorite Giannis colourway?

You said "constant" debates with kids. :pachaha:

See why modern kids behave the way they do with adults.

I work at a school and a juvie detention.

The debate is I think it's ok to wear basketball shoes, they disagree.

I like the ones that came out last year the most. Purple, lime

Basketball shoes ain’t trending at the moment. And that’s all the matters to Gen Z, looking, talking acting and dressing the exact same. :martin:I’m an 80’s baby raised in the 90’s and I still rock rare classic 90’s retro basketball shoes in OG colors that ain’t been retro’d in a minute (Air Bakins, Flightposites etc.). Yes, restoration was needed for them to be wearable too. And people my age and younger give me props when I breaks em out. Modern basketball sneaks don’t get much love although some people rock Lebrons casually. The Lebron sneaker hype ain’t what was since he left Miami. South Beach Lebrons used to resell for like a band back in the day.
