What do it taste like compared to ribeyeyou never had prime rib
order it out; they got it at a lot of blue bird spots.
when I use to gamble id get it at the casino all the time
make sure you grab a healthy amount of horseradish
I mean its all beef......
I'm not a food critique so I can't articulate it......
but its like a comfort food ribeye

Like expensive pot roast with our gravy. Very beefy taste. Much more deeper than steaks.

I wouldn't say it's better than ribeye, just a little different. Prime rib should be super tender in general and juicy because it's roasted and served with au jus and horseradish sauce. I would say it has a really strong beefy favor whereas ribeye is the more fatty beef flavor. Also with ribeye you'll have that sear, with prime rib you get more of a roasted beef flavor on the crust/band.
this aint 2 far off; my wifey just braised short ribs that I think fit this description 2. she has cooked veggies with it and shyt.

Yep. shyt is succulent. Don't need no gravy, or A1 sauce. Just use its own juices as sopping sauce...this aint 2 far off; my wifey just braised short ribs that I think fit this description 2. she has cooked veggies with it and shyt.

I hate prime rib.
I like briskets and steaks. If you get a middle section of the prime rib it's all inner beef flavor. It's tender, it's juicy. It's great, it just ain't for me. It doesn't have a bad taste, most people hit it with au jus or horseradish, I choose bearnaise over hollandaise and Id much rather have any cut of a fillet mignon or chateaubriand. Sometimes even that's a little much. If it's in a beef Wellington though I'm all in.

prime rib is just ribeye roasted in the oven and served differently. if you slice it up by the bone into steaks its ribeye. I made one for Thanksgiving. much better than Turkey

Used to smash one before we began the crab onslaught, at our local casino.
I always used to hit it with some sauce, or the juice it comes with, but if I never had Ribeye, or Porterhouse, I prolly wouldn't miss them.
