I want a pet crab. Anybody here ever had one?

Crazy story time. Had a pet fiddler crab when I was 9-10. The tank was pretty big, probably 10 gallons. It was him, some goldfish to keep him company. Not kidding, this crab was an escape artist. At first he was cool, after a few months, he was like "I'm out" and started trying to get out of the tank. He probably got out 2-3 times and we caught him the first few times. Last time he managed to escape down TWO FLIGHTS of stairs in a 2 story house and reached the door before we found him in the morning. He was missing a couple legs. He died shortly after. Smart little guy. He had my respect.
