I want to get back into rapping but this 9 to 5 is kicking my ass.

I haven't rapped in years and I want to start again.

I was thinking about want to challenging myself to write a verse a week on Saturday.

It's the day I have off and I hope that motivation will get me back into writing more often.

Anybody else suffer from regular ass life getting in the way?

You can't force creativity so some of my best stuff came whenever I had the most free time and not an actual career, hence why I never find myself just zoning out and writing to beats anymore.

Anybody else have this struggle?

IMO we have too many rappers and not enough singers. You can get better with time plus everyone uses melodyne and shif to touch it up when mixing and mastering.

You can still rap. Do you make sample beats or use loops and shyt?

I don't make beats. I just find instrumentals on YT and make songs.

Man gone get back to rapping. I recently did and regret having not done it sooner.

Most important thing is to have a plan. And take advantage that there's no longer gatekeepers you need to bypass.

You can earn 10,000 fans who will support you so you can make a living rapping. There's 300 million people in this country! You can earn 10,000.
