I've realized contrarianism is a strong impulse for many Black Americans. This was me for a number of years.

Brehs be trying to "think outside the box" while slowly climbing into a smaller, more restrictive one. If you find yourself on the same side as open racists, White nationalists, anti-immigrants, misogynists, incels, and wealthy cacs with "fukk you" money (who all are generally conservative), you've made a wrong turn somewhere.

Plain and simple white folks pay a lot of money for black people to push conservatism and anti-black racism. Black people in general don't have a lot of money/wealth so finding someone to do it is relatively easy. Also conservative groups in general spend a ton more money than leftists to push their agenda via influencers, commentators etc.
