depends on what you want to do. personally, i don't like to ever feel like i'm the 3rd/5th/7th wheel or whatever. that's why i work a lot better when i'm alone. i'm more likely to take on a pack of women solo (that is, once i recognize which one of the girls in the group is interested in me) when i'm by myself than when i'm with other people. which is odd, because most people would feel more comfortable with the support of others. anyways, i'd say don't try to find a girlfriend just so you can hang with them though...
