who do you think is better than basquait
I personally like Wllem De Kooning more... He was an abstract expressionist, but his shyt blows my mind....

Ernest Ludwig Kirchner has some crazy pieces as well...

Don't get me wrong. One of my favorite paintings is Basquiat's "Tenor". I just feel like his story is what makes him so intriguing...

Also, POS REP on the avi... Robb Bank$ is my nikka...

Basquiat took it up the ass to get where he got so nothing about him or his art is "cool".

his story definitely adds to the mystique. I don't think there's an artist that really lived his painting more than basquiat. you can see his psychosis in them. he was not a well-adjusted human being, jean was all types of fukked up. he lived so intensely he couldn't sustain it and all his fears & anxieties ended up consuming him.

a classic story really
