umm pick up a book its true. These woman lost everything, they had nothing, slave masters gave them shelter and love and treated them very well. Not every slave was shackled and beaten, the belief of that being the life of all slaves is FALSE. Without the slave owners these woman would literally have nothing. They couldn't read, write, or in some cases speak or understand english, they HAD NO SKILLS. Good slave masters actually educated their woman to better everyone in the family. THIS IS FACT. Yes some people had it rough during slave times but not all masters were the same.
