I wish Rapsody was more popular

Why isn't Rapsody more popular? I know everyone has someone in mind they wish would gain a larger following, but damn it really confuses the hell out of me with her . I guess you could argue the same for the rest of Jamla/Justus League/FE...pretty much everyone in that collective been putting out quality shyt for years. But Rapsody got that Roc Nation machine behind her. Had a Kendrick placement. People like 9th and Khrysis on the boards. And she can rap her ass off. I was listening to her last album yesterday and she goddamn snaps . I couldn't even make it past the intro, Nina....it's just that good. And probably the best Nina Simone flip I've heard outside of Blood on the Leaves.



Brehs....what the fukk. Tell me this ain't fire. I mean, I guess as long as she's still able to tour, put out music and get bread I'm happy for her. Just wish she was more mainstream.

BUT while I don't want her sounding like other female rappers, I wish I got more of her sensuality/sexiness too because I think she's attractive. I wish there was a perfect balance between her and the other types, I dont' even know what that middle ground looks/sounds like.

She is really good. A dope live performer too. Besides her making too many “I’m a strong women” joints she is great. I like her songs that are more braggadocios and show her lyrical ability more than anything.
