I think I read that you dump the ice water on you and challenge 3 others OR donate to the ALS charity.

If true, then they do want to be seen without doing ish for the cause.

Sad state of fukkery in this world we inhabit:snoop:.

This whole challenge makes me uncomfortable... Were any of these celebs talking about ALS just a month ago? And they should be refusing to do the ice water challenge and donating money instead. Wtf does ice water do

The ALS Association reports that it, and its 38 chapters, received $4 million in donations in just two weeks. Last year during that same time period, (July 29-August 12), the association brought in $1.1 million.

It doesn't mater what the motivation is, if they really care about ALS or if it's just another trend to hop on.

http://online.wsj.com/articles/how-the-ice-bucket-challenge-got-its-start-1408049557

As of Thursday, the ALS Association, a national advocacy, care and research association with 38 chapters, had raised $7.6 million in donations in two weeks. That compares with $1.4 million raised during the same two-week period last year. The donations came from existing donors and 145,918 new donors, said a spokeswoman for the group.

The shyt is creating awareness.
