this site is probably controlled by some aggregator, I have my ghostery on and Dotomi is on it, which is a retargeting company. If this site gets like 1 million impressions per month, which I highly doubt, because that would be if there are 4k users, each user need to be on this site 250 times per month, and if they charge 3CPM, then that's 3k max in ad revenue, but then you take away the cut from the aggregators and other companies, it's really not that much. But better than nothing.

how are you calculating the possible ad revenue?

not alot, my pops has a forum with much more traffic than the coli and unique visitors and he doesnt make 2k from it

what kind of forum is it? how much is made on the site?

how are you calculating the possible ad revenue?

CPM= Per thousand, that's how publishers charge, unless you're a top site on the net where you can do special buys and charge higher CPM for other ad units such as pre roll, half page, full page, other types of ads. This site only has in page banners, and only leaderboards at that, they don't even have skyscrapers or rectangles. So if this site is charging advertisers 3 dollar per 1 thousand impressions( site visits), then if they get 1 million impressions, that's 3 thousand bucks they can get. That's being really generous. The math would be 1,000,000 / 1000 * 3.

If this site has other ad sizes, like if they have a rectangle ad, they can literally double their ad revenue cuz that would be twice the impressions.
