nikkas got to know they fukkin suck, that their coaches despise them, the local media probably shyts on them repeatedly and they know they gonna be out on their ass as soon as the GM can find a replacement. I know its a huge elephant in the room at the facilities.

I wonder if they feel like failures.....for completely under-performing and not fulfilling their side of the agreement :ld:

Or do they feel like :jawalrus:

Take Matt Cassel for example

2,924yds 16tds 16ints 69.9
3,116yds 27tds 7ints 93.0
1,713yds 10tds 9ints 76.6
1,796yds 6tds 12ints 66.7

this man is atrocious :comeon: He has to know that everybody in KC hates his ass :pachaha:

Probably great, Cassel aint even a bust, he is a dude who never was supposed to be shyt, had a good year and got paid out the ass.

It sucks if you're a bust and dumb with money and have no backup plan though.

I don't think Matt Cassel is considered a bust. He was a low draft pick who earned his 2nd contract by actually producing in the league. A bust is a high draft pick who doesn't do shyt in the league.

Cassel was just a bad trade. But I could have told the Chiefs that back in 09 before he ever took a snap for them.

I know the money sets you for life but...yea it kinda would suck to go into public and people look at you like "that fukkin Vernon Gholston" :scusthov: :smh:

No one knows what Vernon Gholston looks like.

NFL players are the most unrecognizable of all sports, mostly because their faces are covered when they play.

All you gotta do is move out of town and you're good. I`m sure in Houston Texas nobody knows what Charles Johnson (Detroit WR) looks like.

I think it's especially worse for dudes from small towns... they've been a local celebrity since high school and everyone is in their ear hyping them up to be the next greatest thing, then when they fail- they feel like they not only let themselves and their family down, but the whole damn town that's been riding with them from the start

I think people just caught up on the money. Of course, that'd be great. But imagine walking into PNC, Chevron or whatever corporate office some of yall work at and all 200 employees on the floor are :ld: when you walk by.

I am sure most feel like failures... the NFL busts who are BUSTS because they didn't have the proper motivation and were lazy probably fele like "fukk itI got bread".

But... humans are very adaptive creatures who based on the context, can feel like shyt and depressed even when people from the outside might be like... "Dude got it made."

Imagine every body thinking you were going to be a BEAST because you were great at a lower level and then you are labeled by "EVERYONE" as a waste... shyt could definitely get to you.

You ever lose a Madden 13 or NBA 2k game to someone talking shyt? Even with it not really affecting youlif, you uld still be heated about it for a little while.

Now imagine you failing at that in real life and everywhere you turn someone is writing negative shyt about you...
