i must admit i didn't watch anything grammy-related, but from what i gathered
kanye wasn't talking about overall careers.
i haven't watched the grammys since 2011, but from what i remember, it has always been a popularity contest,hence why eminem wins raoy grammy everytime he releases an album!
hell, 'who let the dogs out' has won a grammy!!
beyonce had better sales, bigger impact, better critic ratings and thus should've won the award!!
i, of course, could be wrong or the people in charge at the grammys are not clear about their criteria when awarding these awards!!!
when they feel like it, one moments it is about artistry and next its a popularity contest!!
