Serious question but all he does is talk. Unless dude has an industrial policy... there's nothing revolutionary about what he's doing. What he NEEDS to do is draft an industrial policy, put a tarrif on imports from Europe so that they can develop their domestic industries, and finally they need to focus on exports.

Seems like it. Dude is goofy. No industrial policy at all. Dude is fukked so he needs to get tapped in with the CHinese. Slap tarriffs on products from European companies and get the Chinese to help them set up domestic industries (especially in mining and processing), If the chinese can help them get the machinery, knowhow and equipment in exchange for a cut of the proceeds, only then can this be a "win".

That's been done a million times but they never follow through with what needs to be done AFTER you kick them out. Look at what happened to Zimbabwe, they ended up having to beg CACs to come back. Traore needs a thorough plan for what happens after. It should have something to do with slapping tarriffs on European products (or American ones too if they exist in the country) then consulting the Chinese on how to produce those products at home (the machinery, knowhow, heavy equipment etc.)... and hopefully eventually make money from exports. Anything else is just babbling and useless. Also, how are those factories making money? Who are they selling the products to now that they got blackballed by the west? They gotta consult with China otherwise they might be cooked.
