This is not a deflection. Those are cherry-picked bullet points that do nothing actionable. Thats not a slight to Cube necessarily, but if those were picked up by the RNC as policy points, they are the easiest to wiggle out of. The fact those were even in the proposal is indicative of how put of his depth Cube was even if its Republican cherry picking to make those a point of emphasis.
